To Finish Things Up
Overall, people's human nature is good. They can use reason and have a fair government. Everyone is equal and no one should harm one an others' life, liberty and property. These natural rights need to be protected by the government. We are all under the influence of God and he owns us. People should not be greedy because we live in a world where we have an unlimited supply.

I agree with Locke in some areas of his philosophy. I think we do need a type of government to run, and that the people are the ones who are really leading. I do not agree with Locke on everyone's human nature is only good. I think that peoples human nature is good but it can turn into bad. I think people intend to do good.
ReplyDeleteOne example would be to look at a previous president. Take a look at Bush, many people thought he overspent on the military and Iraq. It was spent to help millions. I'm sure Bush was only doing this to keep us safe, and he didn't intend to put us in even more debt.
